Quick News: Beetle, Vampire, Galaxy, Secret

Warner Bros. Pictures

Blue Beetle
A new report indicates DC’s upcoming “Blue Beetle” film was nearly delayed to next year as the ongoing strikes mean studios cannot promote their movies with the help of their stars.

Eventually, Warner Bros. Discovery opted to continue with the release, which remains on track for an August 18th opening. The film’s leading man Xolo Mariduena took to social media prior to the strike to share a message that he won’t be participating in any upcoming promotion for the film. [Source: Puck News]

In addition a planned San Diego Comic-Con panel, which would have given fans their first glimpse at the upcoming second season, has also been cancelled. [Source: Deadline]
