On Saturday night, the Producers Guild of America announced the winners of their annual awards, and while it wasn’t quite as exciting as last year when there was a tie between Gravity and 12 Years a Slave for the top prize, this certainly makes the race for the 87th Academy Awards a little more interesting. While Boyhood won Best Drama and The Grand Budapest Hotel won Best Comedy or Musical at the Golden Globes, neither of the Best Picture nominees won the PGA awrd. Instead, Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s stellar Birdman got the Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures. ›››
