Who Else Is Expected To Feature In The Renee Ballard Spinoff?
The Bosch Universe Continues To Expand
After the announcement earlier in the year by Amazon Prime Video stating that they had ordered a new Bosch spinoff series, Mission: Impossible alum Maggie Q was the first name confirmed to be starring in this upcoming series. The actor was cast as Renée Ballard, a detective who uncovers a large conspiracy while running a poorly funded, all-volunteer cold-case unit.
Ballard is determined to get the cold-case unit running again, and the aforementioned Thomas Laffont is not the only old friend she calls on. The titular character, Harry Bosch, who also serves as an old ally to Ballard, comes out of retirement to assist her in solving and navigating the numerous tricky cases that she inherits.
