Anthony Mackie will soon reprise the role of Falcon in the upcoming “Captain America: Civil War,” and in a recent interview he revealed some specifics about when he’ll get to work on this follow-up to last year’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”.
Talking with B96 in Chicago (via CBM), Mackie says: “We start shooting in April. So, it’s gonna be a lot of flying and fighting for about five months…And I’m not mad at all. [We’ll be in] Puerto Rico, Berlin, and Atlanta.”
‘Civil War’ sees Iron Man and Captain America divided over the Superhero Registration Act, which forces anyone with super-human abilities to register themselves with the U.S. government and agree to serve as part of a new police force. Stark supports the program, Rogers doesn’t with the latter forced to go on the run.
Mackie, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr. and fellow ‘Winter Soldier’ returnees Sebastian Stan and Frank Grillo will be joined by both Chadwick Boseman and Daniel Bruhl in the new film opening May 6th 2016.
