There’s been talk of an “X-Files” TV revival for some time now, and it appears all that discussion is coalescing into something more solid. In January, Fox TV Group chairman Gary Newman revealed that creator Chris Carter was in talks with the network for a new run of the show. On top of that, original stars Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny are onboard. Today, TV Wise reports that Fox TV is close to giving an official green-light to a revival of the series after having settles on a ‘short-stack’ order, basically a limited event series…
Michelle MacLaren in talks to direct Wonder Woman
Warner may well have found a director for its Wonder Woman solo movie, with THR reporting that Michelle MacLaren is currently in talks with the studio. It had previously been reported that the Warner was searching for a female director to take the helm, and in our previous news piece, we speculated that MacLaren might be a good fit for the job. Having amassed an impressive television CV, including a number of episodes of both Breaking Bad and Game Of Thrones, MacLaren has yet to make the step up to feature films, but would be an exciting choice from the studio. Official plot details are yet to be confirmed, but it is thought that the new film will be a period piece, following Wonder Woman’s attempts …

‘Furious 7’ Set To Open $100 Million+, According To Forecasts
Universal The Fast/Furious franchise is Universal’s biggest cash cow, the kind of quarterly meeting bullet point that soothes panicky investors. Corporations being corporations, they opted for option C, all of the above. Universal exec Donna Langley told Hollywood Reporter she thinks there’s “at least three more” Furious sequels. In the interim, PAUL WALKER’S LAST STAND is still one hell of a marketing hook, and pre-release forecasts have Furious 7 opening at $100 million or higher. …

Resolution (2012) Review
By Jonathan Weichsel MoreHorror.com NOTE: This review original appeared April of 2013 on the now defunct website Planet Fury. I have read a lot of online reviews lately bashing indie horror as a whole for being derivative, unimaginative, and amateurish. I have been reviewing indie horror films for years, and I have watched my share of knockoffs made …
