Daniel Bruhl to play villain in Captain America: Civil War
Captain America: Civil War might be set to pit Captain America and Iron Man against each other, but there will also be a standalone villain involved, with Daniel Bruhl officially signing on to play the film’s big bad. It had been thought that Tony Stark might become the nominal villain of the piece, and while that might still be the case, Bruhl will ensure there is a fully fledged “bad guy” on the scene too. FOX Planning to Revive "The X-Files"
Fox TV Group chairman Gary Newman used today’s TCA Winter Tour presentation to announce plans to revive Chris Carter’s classic series “The X-Files”. Newman says they would like to bring back the show’s original stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, but that’s not confirmed. No further details were on offer. The series ran from 1993 to 2002, ultimately clocking up two films and 202 episodes, along with helping pave the way for the proliferation of successful supernatural and sci-fi genre series currently on the air.
