By now you’ve heard about the big changes afoot at TotalFilm.com and SFX.co.uk. Yep, we’re moving to a dedicated section of the whopping big entertainment portal GamesRadar.com – and the switchover is happening early next week. Sound the klaxon!
All of our news, reviews and features, including all TotalFilm.com‘s existing content, will be making the leap to GamesRadar.com next week. We’ll be very sad to say goodbye to TotalFilm.com after all these years and we’re grateful to everybody who’s work on or supported it. But GamesRadar has a huge audience and uses swanky newfangled technology and we think you’ll find it a cool, clean, fun new place to read about movies.
Plus it means you’ll now be able to get – only if you want it! – TV and book articles from SFX and games articles from GamesRadar, giving you more choice than ever. And all this will be ready early next week. Please don’t be surprised if you follow one of your TotalFilm.com bookmarks and find yourself redirected to the new site. This URL will be going dark on Tuesday as we throw ourselves into the new GamesRadar.com/totalfilm universe.
We realise it’s going to take some getting used to, but really it’s a different URL and a new look. Of course, if you enjoy chatting with your chums on Total Film, contributing to movie discussions and sending us your thoughts on the latest trailers, you can still do all that, because nothing is changing in our social media channels. That’s right, our Facebook and Twitter communities are all still there. You can still use the same online store to buy mags too. But we hope you’ll also join us at GamesRadar.com next week to see what we’re getting up to over there.
PS. Total Film and SFX print and digital magazines remain completely unaffected by the changes online. Look out for Total Film issue 226, in shops and on your iPad now!
