Harley Quinn Becomes an O.M.A.C. in Twisted New Cover Art
Harley Quinn has been on some wacky adventures in her life, but everything turned upside down ever since she developed strange, multiversal powers. After discovering she could plunder things from other worlds in the DC Universe, Harley came under the watchful eye of Lady Quark, who warned Harley that her interference endangered the structure of the DCU. Harley’s attempts to get a handle on her role in the multiverse have only gotten worse with the appearance of Lux Kirby, a private eye who revealed that someone is traveling across the various DC Earths and killing the Harley Quinn on each one.
Fans may recall Brother Eye, the intelligent satellite that was hacked by Maxwell Lord, who used the satellite and the O.M.A.C.s to try and wipe out the DC Universe’s metahuman population. The O.M.A.C.s recently reappeared in the pages of Harley Quinn as the servants of Lady Quark on Earth-48. Though they were a bit forceful in bringing Harley to Lady Quark’s court, they weren’t exactly presented as evil. But the O.M.A.C.s can easily be turned into powerful antagonists. While it’s unclear if Harley’s actually going to become an O.M.A.C. or if it’s just a misleading cover, seeing Harley Quinn turn into one of the creepy cyborgs hints at the dark fight Harley has ahead of her.
Harley Quinn Has An Epic Multiversal Battle Ahead of Her
In a short amount of time, Harley Quinn has risen to become one of the most prominent heroes in the DC multiverse. As she continues to sort out her place in the grand cosmology, Harley’s going to take on villains that will challenge her in ways that Gotham villains like Joker or Two-Face never could. Will Harley Quinn be able to triumph over the onslaught of Brother Eye and the O.M.A.C.s or will she fall only to become a monstrous cyborg herself?
Harley Quinn #36 is available from DC Comics on January 23rd.
